We accompanied Mexico in the implementation of its National Addiction Prevention Strategy ‘Together for Peace’, through technical support to strengthen the National Drug Observatory and risk and harm reduction policies regarding sexual diversity and problematic use of methamphetamine and fentanyl. Mexico participates in six COPOLAD III working groups.

Drug demand reduction
- 1 national research network led by the National Drug Observatory of Mexico to strengthen the national drug information and research system.
- 1 Scientific Committee on Drugs to systematically advise the Observatory.
- Gender-sensitive revision of the National Survey on Mental Health and Addictions and of the data analysis and elaboration system of the Mexican Observatory on Mental Health and Addictions.
- 1 Guide for dealing with methamphetamine and fentanyl use in Mexico and training for more than 1,000 people from the Administration.
- 1 Guide for psychoactive substances care in the population of sexual diversity.
