Panamá
We are accompanying Panama in the implementation of its National Drug Strategy 2012-2017 and, specifically, to strengthen its National Drug Observatory.
Technical support is channelled through the strengthening of Panama’s Drug Observatory and through the country’s participation in six COPOLAD III working groups. The Observatory’s staff has also participated in various training courses and seminars on exchange and best practices in Latin America and the European Union.

Strengthening the National Drugs Observatory

- Promotion of a national research network led by the National Drugs Observatory of Panama.
- Formation of a Scientific Committee on Drugs to systematically advise the observatory.
- Elaboración de manuales base para la gestión y la disposición final de precursores químicos.
- Reformulación reglamentaria del modelo de gestión y control de precursores químicos orientado a una mejora de la articulación institucional
Lucha contra el narcotráfico
- Diseño de una política pública de reutilización social y cultural de los bienes de extinción de dominio
