We accompany Venezuela in the implementation of its National Anti-Drug Plan 2019-2025. In terms of national actions, we support the country’s National Drug Observatory to strengthen research networks and incorporate a gender approach in drug studies.

Strengthening the National Drugs Observatory
Control de precursores químicos
- Promotion of a national research network, led by the National Drugs Observatory, following a mapping of human, financial and institutional resources.
- Formation of a Scientific Committee on Drugs to advise the Observatory.
- Revision, with a gender focus, of the methodological design of a study of patients admitted to hospital emergency rooms for problematic drug use.
- Conformación de un Comité Científico sobre Drogas para asesorar al Observatorio.
Lucha contra el narcotráfico
- Revisión, con enfoque de género, del diseño metodológico de un estudio de pacientes que ingresan en urgencias hospitalarias por consumo problemático de drogas.
